This is a blog to document the run-up to the 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix. Given the current human rights situation in Bahrain, the race is very controversial, both within Bahrain and for the sport itself. There has already been widespread protests, police crackdowns, reported violence and international campaigns around the Bahrain Grand Prix. It is likely to be a point of increasing global focus as the day of the race – Sunday 21 April – draws closer.

If you would like to send me any content for potential publication on the blog, please email me at: 2013bahrain[@]gmail[.]com . I would be particularly grateful for pictures and videos from Bahrain.
